this was a comforting take on a very difficult and scary subject. Thank you. We do at the end of the day have to understand why we are creating art and what it means to us. If anything, the question of AI really brings this question into focus. We must at our core know why we love to create art. Even with AI art being generated, we will still be able to move our hands to draw, we will still be able to use our minds and create, and we will still be able to find artists and creative people in general who are keeping their medium alive. And if anything, we will be all the stronger for it because we'll be keeping those values together. Its unwise to begin creating art to please other people, and likewise allowing something else to decide whether or not you make art. Make art for yourself first. And if you do need to draw for other people, there will always be those willing to fight for human creativity, for people looking for *you* and not a machine. Being human with an unpredictable unique experience gives you an irreplaceable value that makes you leagues different from an AI that can be predictably programmed. People think that AI will allow them to think outside of the box, but AI are in the box. You're not. Bring that to the table, bring all of yourself. Don't allow AI to dictate our creative fields, make your presence, be as creative as you can possibly be.
