ChatGPT has replaced roughly 80% of the stuff I used to Google, just because its answers are so much more detailed & spot on. The exception of course is if I need to know anything more current since its knowledge base cuts off at Sept. 2021. I know it has vast capabilities but I mostly use it for things like cooking directions, recipes, household chores, medical & tech info, reading about history or psychology etc. Of course I remember to take all the info it gives me with a grain of salt (much like I would if I was reading Wikipedia for example). It’s still incredible & a lot of fun to use.
I just wish it could remember former conversations & that I could customize its features/personality more. But I imagine features like that will come in time. 🤷🏼♂️
