People are once again talking about AI and Super AI taking over the world. Meanwhile, Donald Trump seems to be taking steps that slow down or even block research and development in the U.S. I believe many people — consciously or unconsciously — still view scientists, especially those who are new immigrants, as second- or third-class contributors. That mindset is dangerous. Innovation thrives on diversity, and sidelining immigrant talent will only weaken America’s future in AI.
