Meanwhile, Donald Trump seems to be taking steps that slow down or even block research and development in the U.S. I believe many people — consciously or unconsciously — still view scientists, especially those who are new immigrants, as second- or third-class contributors. That mindset is dangerous. Innovation thrives on diversity, and sidelining immigrant talent will only weaken America’s future in AI.
