I use AI as an assistant. I give it strict guidelines. I will never let it write something from scratch. I will review it. Correct it. Then ask it to review it again. At the end of the day, I am the gatekeeper of the code. The amount of times I asked AI to check it's code again and it telling me "oh yeah, I got that wrong" is laughable.
Only give AI specific, repetitive, menial tasks. Don't let it take control.
