I was a commercial artist for the fabric industry in the 80s. In 1989 the industry abruptly left this country. Computers took color separations I did by hand, and The entire fabric design industry just left for Korea. I made jewelry for awhile, but I never made the $ I did with the fabric industry. People know it's handmade by a women in the US, but a lot of people just want the jewelry, and don't care about workers. They don't pay the extra cash it takes for the artist to put food on the table.
I paint watercolor now, and so does AI. I think art is done IMO. I still paint for myself.
This is the rough times for the middle class. Robots took the working class jobs, now AI takes the middle class jobs.
Capitalism IS going to fall. Everything ends. Good riddance. We don't need it to survive. Many people are not surviving due to it.
