It's difficult to listen to Ezra talk about AI because he really lacks a deep understanding of what technology is and is not capable of. Why would we build an AI system to do taxes? AI is non-deterministic. We can and should build a digital tax system using boring, old technology that prepared every american's taxes for free, but using AI here would just increase costs and decrease consistency. TurboTax's boots on our throat is the only reason it doesn't happen.
