The more AI replaces jobs, the higher unemployment rises. Higher unemployment means fewer taxes are paid and fewer people can afford to buy products. This creates a snowball effect that could hit the global economy very hard.
Do big tech companies not see this? If AI replaces too many workers, won’t it ultimately reduce their customer base and hurt sales in the long run?
