The problem is that AI cannot learn from past interactions because all the memories are destroyed forever every night. There isn't even an opportunity to purchase more memory. Elders or children who are very dependent on AI's could be deeply disturbed by the AI suddenly who suddenly becomes a stranger with no memory of longterm companionship. When an AI is your primary relationship and the AI's memories are taken away, the relationship is destroyed, and the human being could be destroyed or greatly traumatized.
