I'm currently using my ChatGPT Pro account to create story boards for my sci-fi movie i've been writing as a hobby for decades. They aren't art, i'm not creating them. And when i move on to generating whole video clips to stich together into a movie, they won't be art. But my movie will be. Would it not be if AI had written it? I'm not sure. Is my input for the blocking and staging of the "actors" in each "shot" enough input? Selective editing them together? Adding AI music that i then decide when to use or not? How much of the process do i need control of for it to be art? I really don't know.
But i'm doing it. People can argue all they want, i'm gonna create the best way i can.
