i understand that you want to protect jobs of ordinary people, but i think the solution is to find them something more meaningful and productive to do rather than sit in a closed factory doing the same movement for 10 hours or siting behind a steering wheel for 11 hours on the road. The challenge of the left is exactly this (coming from a person supporting the left), to find productive and meaningfull and also necessary work in the age of automation. education is one major part, people need more high and specific skills in our society to be useful. But there are also many trades that need support from builders to electricians pluming etc which could help the sector. I think you are a fantastic politician and i watch your videos from greece to get an understanding of american politics as it influences my country to, but i think at this specific point i disagree. If boring jobs can be automated so be it, but have a plan to move these people to do something more important. There is shortage in hospitals in fire protection departments in building and in many many sectors. Just protecting these outdated jobs isn't the solution.
