So I had a little think about this a while back. What if we all lost our jobs to AI??? Well it makes no sense because most companies are either creating something to be consumed or used or a proffesion is learned to offer a service. In order for a capitilist society to function, everyone needs to be earning aaaaaand SPENDING money. If everyones job is lost to AI then yes all great and good for the big corporations who no longer need to pay salaries but then who tf is going to buy their products if everyone is jobless and no one is earning??? You see how that doesn't work?
So the knockon effect of this would be that products and services skyrocket in price because no one can afford to buy other than business owners and eventually companies close down as they are no longer able to sell product. Everyones jobs being replaced by AI simply doesn't work in a capitilist society.
