Art is like any other skill: you don't get better at it by simply wishing you were better. You have to put in the effort, and more importantly, you have to make the mistakes and learn from them for yourself. Behind every 'talented' artist are hundreds of thousands of fuck-ups that no one will ever see. The same goes for athletics-based skills and even career skills. Everyone goes through the process of learning (black/white, man/woman, disabled/non-disabled), but no one does it in the same way, and that's a good thing. If we all learned the same way, then everything would look similar (just like AI)
