In nature if we don't adapt we die. So, what's to say this is any different, its not entirely unreasonable to think AI will be integrated into us. And to people who fear that, I would say don't we already have things out of our control within our body, the difference between the conscious brain and the other parts of the brain which are doing tasks entirely separate to what we choose to do.
