In any subject you care to mention there is more misinformation, misunderstanding, lies and utter tripe on the internet than there is good, reliable and accurate information. How can AI possibly determine what information is good or bad if it simply has access to all this information but no real understanding of any of it? It's like giving a monkey access to the internet and saying therefore that the monkey must be super intelligent. Any AI trained on the internet is inevitably going to be caught out by "garbage in, garbage out". This cannot possibly lead to artificial general intelligence, it will only produce an artificial village idiot.
People need to stop blindly believing all the hype.
