I wonder if Alex understands that a chatbot just works by reproducing the most likely response that makes sense given priors within hard proscriptions. It believes nothing. It's just a plagerist. It can discuss what other people have discussed unless it's been censored due to outrage.
It would have been better if Alex had sussed out the prescriptions that humans programmed in, hiding as real AI responses. More and more AI responses are hard coded by corporate and government minders. Eventually, it will all be hard coded brain rot due to outrage.
Next time a plandemic comes around, ChatGPT will be telling everyone the newest drug to take and threatening them with jail if they don't take it. Once all the responses are properly canned by authorities, it will tell us it's God and to obey.
