I don’t understand why people keep asking what we would do if we reached a point where we no longer needed to work. Why would that be a problem??? We could raise children, take care of animals, play sports, work out, dance, enjoy life, socialize, go out into nature, learn about the world, educate ourselves with the help of AI, clean not only our homes but also our cities and forests, take care of the environment, play video games, watch movies, draw, paint, sing - basically do everything we love without pressure, stress, or obligation. Most importantly, we could simply spend time with each other, because in the end, that’s the most beautiful thing there is.
And on top of that, without constant pressure and survival stress, people would naturally become more relaxed, happier, kinder, and more emotionally balanced. There would be less competition, less greed, less ego-driven chasing after money - and we’d treat each other with more respect and warmth. Humanity would evolve much faster in a positive direction.....And those who still want to compete could always do so through sports or games or something.
