I’m a designer started 15 years ago and over the years also took up tradition letterpress printing, the industry for graphic design is definitely dying!! My clients that use to be amazing to work with 5 years ago are now asking for canva templates and asking for AI prompts so that they can do everything themselves! I’m all for making it more affordable for them but honestly there’s not much money in it anymore, started dying when Fiver and that sort came out and now AI can make logos in seconds, impossible to keep up with really. I’ve found as people lean more into tech thou, more people are desiring hand made and printing techniques like letterpress is suddenly being valued a lot again!
