Great video, but still shallow. Some big companies work in industries that generate fortune only because of the economy of scale. You can manufacture paper clips without humans. But can you sale paperclip for a 1000$ a piece? What about agriculture? Resource extraction and many more. If we automate to the point only ultra wealthy can buy anything, then many industries collapse, economy gonna shrink and you will be left with masses that has nothing to do, but riot or make an alternative economy. UBI is a compromise, but it will depend of a good will of the state. And give it to much power. For me I can see return to pre-modern agricultural economy. We can see rise in craftsmanship and homesteading. Price of goods can technically hit such a bottom that you can earn many modern luxuries on marginal incomes. At some point we will figure it out, but the next 20 to 40 years gonna be hectic.
