While this is unfortunate and I send my deepest condolences, CHATGPT is not the blame for this. Some 60 yr old man is trying to blame CHATGPT for the fact that he poisoned himself after following diet advice when there is literally a disclaimer that says “CHATGPT can make mistakes. Check important info.” In the case of a user talking about depression and anxiety I’m sure resources were given in attempt to help this young man seek aid with what was clearly a mental health issue. Smh this is awful. RIP to him, and I hope his parents can take some accountability and eventually find peace. This is awful.
