I am at this unique situation of being a graphic designer, motion graphic animator, and also a lawyer (long story how that mess happened). Its more frustrating for me to see all this mess going on. i know what it takes to learn and master the skills to get to a certain level. First we had the work for exposure era and now we have AI underminng art, human creativity and skills. So my design work is being undermine by AI, while the other AI is scary good lawyer and drafting basic legal documents in seconds! You mentioned how music is being protected from AI scraping. Its purely because 98% of world mainstreme music rights are held by handful of companies with billion of dollars at their disposal along with a team of high profile lawyers who will chew a 3 sub YouTuber for playing 2 sec of their music for their 1 friend who watches their video in support. The artist are not collective in that manner, so they don't have the resources to sue these AI companies or anyone for that matter. because its insanely expensive to do so. especially as of now when law is totally uncertain in regards to AII and data scraping. These companies are taking advantage of that. Their is a case pending in US so let's see what they say. Oh slightly better note the USA copyright office gave guidelines about AI generated content. Keeping aside the data scraping issues, they deemed AI creations cannot be copyrighted if human is only giving a promt. So there is that. AI is here to stay we can't stop it we have to adopt.
