so... okay... yeah... Ima rant for a bit, you wanna do something like art? do it, make something, itll always be so much easier to be proud of something you created by hand and effort than something created by typing a sentence. hell, I thought this kinda "art? nah, cant do it" and I never thought of it as a thing to pursue because I thought I wasnt good at it, then, literally only two years ago I got into wanting to be an artist and animator, I have made VISIBLE improvement since I started this journey, I am determined to end up an artist and animator, so take it from someone who used to have that kinda "I dont have talent in art, I cant do it" mindset, Dont go telling yourself you cant do something, dont go letting others tell you you cant do something, just let your damn creativity run wild and doodle every now and again, you'll see improvement every piece you draw and it feels amazing looking back at old projects and seeing the improvement. EXTRA RANT: Ignore the comparisons to others, not "dont compare yourself to others" because thats not fully possible, thats how the human brain works, and comparing your art to someone else's is how you should start out, compare your art to an artist you look up to, but dont listen to the "Im not as good as them" thoughts, compare and think "what did I wrong?" and "how can I improve", comparing your art to art of someone you look up to is how you get an idea of what kinda art you want to draw, and what that kinda art style looks like. EXTRA EXTRA RANT: Dont use the words "talent" or "gifted", the things those words mean, arent true, they dont exist, what "talent" is, is someone who's brain just learns whatever they're doing quicker, everyone learns everything differently, no one is born with the ability to do something, we all have to learn everything we do, so please, try not to use the terms "talent" or "gifted", it downplays the time, effort, practice, and skill of an artist, and I cant speak for every artist, but for me, hearing someone be called "talented' or "gifted" always feels icky, even if it was meant to be a compliment. phew, ok, I could continue ranting (AI "art" is one of the very few topics I have strong opinions on, and many of them), but I wont because you have better things to do than read some gender confused wannabe artist rant about AI, so thanks for reading, have a good day, and dont let anything get in the way of what you want to do in life, buh-bye!
