AI will eliminate millions of jobs for sure. Why would an organisation pay a human £50.000 per year for eight hours work for 48 weeks every year, when an algorithm and a piece of hardware costing a few thousand pounds, maintenance, electricity and amortisation could do the same 52 weeks per year 24/7. The net profits and GDP will be higher. Therefore, means must be found to ensure a decent standard of living for the un-waged. Unless we want to a repeat of France 1789 of starving mobs with pitchforks.
