this decision is founded on the paradigm: we have free will. It is the problema - we do not! the biological algorithm doesn't allow free will. So it does not matter if we will be the next "monkey" in the "animal" cage. Super intelligence will be the same of Humans to the Gorillas... we will not able to understand them, cause they will have much more "neurons" then us which allows unknown behaviors emergence... It as simple as that.
