I don't know which 'AI" are these guys using, but LLM can't code to save their life. LLM couldn't code a calculator app properly at this point let alone decipher often contradictory requirements from the client and get to the bottom of what needs to be done. As a software developer with 10+ years of coding I can tell you LLMs can't do the job of junior coder. I think we are getting gaslight by people who invested billions into AI which isn't actually AI but just a word predictor based on probability what and now are so deep in it that even though it doesn't work and it will not work in its current form it is still being pushed at the cost of young people. People like Sam Altman, Elon Musk and similar destroyed lives of so many people by spewing straight up lies and yet it can't catch up with them, because they are shielded by billions of $.
