I agree with everything except I don’t think that the solutions will do anything to stop the spread of AI, or job loss. They’re never gonna let workers choose the board so they can vote to be kept on payrolls while working 8 fewer hours a week. The reason they want AI is because they can work nonstop. You can’t compete against that by offering up less productivity. We universal basic income, basic services, universal healthcare, housing and food for everyone. And I think there might be some support from corporate America as anyone who is not an AI company will end up giving a large portion of their revenue to labor replacement companies like open AI or Amazon. I’d hope that they’re not excited about that, but I think they’ll go along with it for the savings.
