There will come a time when robots and AI do all the jobs... but it's not going to be any time soon. There will be resistance to change because there always is, but not least because allowing every job to be automated would take away power from rich men who don't want their power to be taken away from them. That's why they want you in the office 5 days a week; sure you were a bit more productive working from home, but you may also be using the time to better educate yourself which they absolutely don't want, and you're no longer spending £5 a pop on brown water from companies that they're shareholders of.
