The big issue with replacing a lot of blue collar labor is that it’s already relatively cheap and requires a physical component that we can’t really automate yet. I’m sure some madman will find a way to completely automate building a home in a practical fashion one day but all the maintenance will still need a very discerning human at the helm for some time after.
