The world as it stands today is built by humans and no one understands it better than us. I am not afraid of AI's intellctual potential because you can never expect it to do, build, create on it's own, an AI will not get up and build a startup or create the next google, tesla, apple whatever you want it to be. AI's creative endeavor is constrained, I find it hard to believe AI will ever be truly creative as it will always lack conscioussness, emotional depth, genuine curiosity, intuition and abstract thinking. These qualities, abstract thinking, problem solving, and the deep seated desire to explore the unknown has been essential in the advancement of our species, from the days of our hunter-gatherer lifestyle to the modern civilization as we see of today.
Humans solve problems to advance and evolve collectively and every revolution sparks major changes either it be the reneissance, the industrial revolution, or the rise of internet. Those who are the quickest to adapt, win. That's how nature works.
