The "sitting duck" jobs that AI is going to take away first are all the superfluous white-collar jobs created to employ the bachelor-degree beneficiaries of the "college for everyone" mentality. College for everyone never was a good idea, and it will soon translate to "unemployment for everyone". The jobs that will be immune in the short and medium term are the plumbers, electricians, contractors, builders who have developed needed skills and found the entrepreneurial spirit to create their own companies. That entrepreneurial spirit, which will develop into many more fields of endeavor is what is going to grow the post-AI success stories - not big government denigrating successful people and confiscating their success to hand out to people who have not had the initiative to work.
