I used to work for HP. All of us who worked there thought they were crazy for moving phone tech support from Atlanta to Costa Rica about 2010. Guess what? Phone tech support was "rocky" at first 6 months, but after 6 months, they were better and could handle more calls than Atlanta ever could. Now tech support is AI automated, and so is tech support for the "Big 4" cell phone companies, Verizon, TMobile, AT&T and Boost Mobile. Of course, certain markets, like elderly people who barely know how to use a cell phone, let alone a computer, will always say "I won't buy a cell phone from any company that doesn't have human tech support." So they go with Consumer Cellular, etc. and they get what they pay for: Human tech support that know both English and Spanish, and barely knows how to read, let alone solve difficult problems......duh....so maybe after 12 calls to tech support, they finally fix their problem....or toss their cell phone in the trash can.....lol....
