In my opinion, the AI isn't bad.. It's the person using it. Would the AI generate an image if not asked to/programmed to? No! It's the person with the intention stealing the art, although the AI does partake in it, it wouldn't have done it if it wasn't asked, so I say it's the person who asked/programmed them to steal art like that, it's like being forced to do something bad, then being punished for being forced to do something bad. Do I support AI? ABSOLUTELY NOT, EW, NO, but do I believe the person asking the AI to make art is not welcomed in the art community and shouldn't be allowed within a 10 mile radius of an art convention or anything else art related? ABSOLUTELY.
