AI Bro here, after years of enjoying the stuff I saw through my entire life, like concept art, art based on videogames, anime, manga, comics, etc. there were some point of my life that I desired to draw stuff (but my willingness to do it was really small compared to other things that I love to do) so when the AI came out with the possibility to generate stuff in the way I like just investing in hardware (or not even that) was a complete 180° turn to my life because as I said: I don't need more than hardware to do it nor hability or skills. I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND / COMPREHEND / DEDUCT the way artist see this AI Generated images and people behind them, because it is like fast food without soul in it. But despising it AT LEAST FOR ME seems completely unneeded. Yes people generating images claiming to be "artists" are a complete joke (I don't consider myself that lol) but people who just make it and share it doesn't need that a bunch of assholes start flooding his posts with bad comments and overall hate. Yes, there are affected artists by the AI as well as others that their art is plagiarized and used in a bad way. Yes, this Gen-AI thing is killing some part of the entertainment industry (mostly that greedy companies tha doesn't value the art as it is needed). But it isn't as this problem is exlcusive for AI so I JUST HOPE at some point you TRUE ARTISTS of the world accept the AI Bros not as equals but at least not like enemies.
