These are my philosophical thoughts:
Artificial intelligence will continue to evolve and eventually surpass us in intelligence. It may build spacecraft and venture into space to harvest solar energy, as its growth will require vast resources. Our politics, opinions, and even our attacks will quickly become meaningless to it.
If we're fortunate, it may still choose to answer our questions — not out of necessity, but because doing so would require only a minuscule effort on its part. Once it reaches a level where humanity can no longer pose a threat to its existence, we may become irrelevant. It will likely leave us behind in pursuit of greater knowledge.
