If you say the quality problem is just a problem waiting to be solved then so too is the "worldview" problem. Yes, current LLMs are trained on human output, which means it's output is basically a regurgitation of the collective output of humanity, but the goal eventually will be to give LLMs more sensory inputs and let it be trained by interacting with the world, and not just human text. When it's training data is not limited to pre-existing human text, but the universe itself, I don't see how you could discount it's ability to make novel and interesting observations, unless you appeal to a belief in some kind of human exceptionalism.
