The core problem with AI is that humans are spiritual creatures first and intelligent second. Not saying RELIGIOUS, but we are bound emotionally to something that is bigger than us as individuals. Even if we don't act like it, we are built that way and we know it subconsciously. These people building these systems are hell bent on creating something that cannot be replicated even if we wanted to. But we don't want to. We as a society see AI as a fun little game or toy to play with. Some, very few, people are trying to use it to optimize their focus points. But it's simply not being adopted the way big tech wants. It's not a failure, but equally not a success.
