Yeah selling fan art isn't illegal (unless you're Disney then it's a different story).
Btw to answer your question no ai "art" isn't real art. Because let's be honest the person who typed it in, doesn't own the image. Especially since they didn't draw it. They put in zero effort.
Also deeper in his video he goes over another "artist" who claims they work for Disney (merely for their card game) but he doesn't and his "art" is AI, not to mention he draws over other Disney work and claim he did it, to the point he covers up their name on the card.
