If there will be so many fewer jobs, what kind of world are they all anticipating / preparing for by building so many of these massive, resource depleting data centers? Reminds me of Bill Gates' desire for depopulation. It really makes me wonder, like what is their long term goal? I imagine if the human population gets reduced like they want, they won't need human workers. Maybe the AI data centers can eventually power a robot army to enforce the rule of the 1%. Otherwise without decent jobs, perhaps they want to make people even more desperate to do anything for a living, even under the worst, most extreme conditions. When AI causes people have no way to get by, they're gonna be more desperate-- how does the 1% plan to deal with the masses at that point? It's just not looking good, for working people and for life on this planet.
