Some clarifications, which most are obvious but I'm putting here just in case (there are probably typos, so ask me to clarify even more if something I said wasn't clear).
But first, here's the most important one (I think): at 22:10 - no, I do not think that'll be the case. I say "I don't know" at 22:47 because this whole time I was trying to get into the head of all of these other individuals that effectively think coding will just turn into plain text, and in doing so my own viewpoint got buried lol. I clarify my viewpoint on this more at 24:17.
at 8:47 - I imply that an entire sprint prompt will be simplified into a single sentence in the future - this is not what I believe. I don't think you'll be able to do a single sentence prompt to complete and entire 2 week sprint. I was saying this as an edge case to prove my point that even if the prompts are that simple, someone still needs to write that prompt.
at 9:29 to @leversofpower - all love brother, even though you did effectively call me dumb because I have no gray hairs ;)
at 11:10 - again, this is me using an edge case as an argument in order to disprove it. Software engineering will exist in 10 years.
at 14:20 - and what about health care systems, and banking, and other types of software that is critical? Are we going to have AI write all of that with no oversight?? In just plain English??
at 16:23 to @KDog - all love to you too brother lol, sorry if you were joking, but your comment was just a beautiful example of what I said.
at 17:15 - in fact, there was no script at all.
at 18:52 - I say "it could be the case" but I believe there is a very, very slim chance that it is. This is one of those instances of "anything is possible" even if it really kinda isn't lol.
at 20:43 - the security risk I'm talking about is sharing data with AI models that you do not control or own. The security risk of vulnerable code is still there.
at 21:33 - I think AI will continue to improve to the point that it'll allow devs to code much quicker (with AI) and with the same quality. And if so, that means a dev team of 2-3 will be able to do what used to take a dev team of 5-10 (before any AI help). I could be wrong, and I'm not sure exactly on the numbers, because my example here means AI will make each dev 2-3x more effective (again, in the future, not right now).
at 21:58 - and while a possibility, I do not think that's the case.

at 25:59 - this is just me trying to be open-minded and genuinely hear out what other people are saying about AI. I was going to delete this part of the video but I liked the example I segued into it afterwards at 27:08.
