Tesla might be on the ropes, but this case isn’t the one to do it. The guy admitted he wasn’t paying attention and had his foot on the accelerator which bypasses safety features. If he had been driving any other car with automatic braking, the jury would have ruled in the manufacturer’s favor. Everyone knows that holding the accelerator down overrides automatic braking. It will be overturned as the jury will be ruled as biased.
Stock manipulation and the other things, those might do it.
