If you’ve grown up using computers before about the mid-2000’s, you’d know even if they are convenient for some automation, if they fail at that, a person needs to spend even more time fixing the problem. At that point it would be better for a person to just do it themselves, controlling the tool directly. Smart technology and now AI are the so-called innovations that aim to reinvent menial tasks, only to be even more inconvenient when they fail, as usual.
