You know the art disability/accessibility angle of this makes me so mad. In grand scheme of things I don't really consider myself to be disabled but I have an essential tremor in my hands and a lot of very subtle fine motor skills issues. My whole life I'd always beaten myself up that I couldn't match the realism and detail of my peers and really struggled with values and shading throughout my art education. Now I've overcome my "flaws" and made a really unique expressive art style that embraces all of the thing I thought were imperfect about my art and have had shows at NYC galleries. This style is now a part of my identity that I take pride in it even though I can never make anything photorealistic. I think it's gross that these AI supporters would rather encourage people like me to let a computer do all of the work rather than fighting to make their own visual style. I'm using Nightshade on all of the art I'm posting on social media now.
