The amount of people who trust these hallucinating chat bots, is really worrying. This is literally like trusting that one friend that always makes up stuff to look cooler.
Probably dosn't help that the biggest search engine now includes Chat Bot output in a space that once was used to display mostly reliable information. Do you remember the time when the first thing in your Google results was information from queried from wikipedia?
Sure even then you had to check sources, but at least you had sources to check.
