I think the problem with AI is that almost nobody uses it properly; it's absolutely indispensable when used as a tool and not a crutch. When I use it for programming I purposely tell it not to generate code and only give me the info I need to write it myself, like library calls for specific functionality, equations, etc., the bare minimum info I need to figure it out on my own and normally only when that info is impossible to find on the enshittified excuses for web browsers we have nowadays.
