It's not 40% unemployement but 40% of jobs will go instinct, this has always been a thing since forever, do you see corner street store blacksmith nowadays? It once was.
We probably gonna have general income with ai, this just means you could feed yourself and pay rent, basic living condition, people will still want more for sure.
Every job that will be automated will still have a niche for very skilled individual in those field but more for an art/man-made that desire man made product, just like blacksmith nowadays.
So yeah if your job has anything to do with computer you will most likely be replaced by AI 99.999%, nothing alarming, exept if someone use AI for evil mean.
