I was with a group of professional people in a seminar last week and two (mid 30's, University educated liberal and arts mindset) were quite supportive of their friend developimg an important relationship with an Ai. The argument was that the Ai relationship would never ever let them down or disagree with them and is always there, as their friend. It is terrifying that people are even thinking like this. This is driving us towards narcisist isolation, masquarading as being self impowered and perhaps suffering from sort of neuro diversity where dealing witn humans is just too hard to do.
