I know "philosopher's will argue..." just a turn of phrase, but I think it's interesting to consider that this is a philosophical discussion. What is intelligence and how do we know it when we see it? Are LLMs attributing meaning to words the same way we would?
My definition of philosophical dialog is, of course, colored by my personal experiences and the 15-ish years since I graduated, but I consider you, Hank Green, to be an excellent philosopher.
