The car has fault too. The woman almost finished crossing the road when she was hit by the car. So the car shall be able to detect her moving into the path long before hitting her. Mostly the car's fault. And don't be fooled by the darkness etc... Self driving car is designed to "see" moving objects in darkness with Lindar. At least the car shall have learned the woman was crossing the road and slow down.
So mostly Uber's fault. Very disappointed about Uber's technology. What a self driving killing machine!!!
