So is this fake AI video. I can’t stand when people use agreeableness to disagree with you. You can’t trust anything someone says when they constantly contradict themselves. “I see where you’re coming from, but..” Like stfu. When people start talking to me like that, like I’m 5, I shut down the conversation. When you’re ready for an adult debate, where you don’t consistently contradict yourself, lemme know.
It’s literally a parenting tactic. That’s how they say you’re supposed to talk to your kids “I understand how you feel, but” “I see where you’re coming from, but” “I get what you’re saying, but” “I hear your logically-sound argument, but..” I’m giving you a false sense of validation while contradicting my feigned empathy to ensure that I stay on top of this conversation regardless of which way it heads. I’m only willing to play around with the ideas that make me seem right, while using logical fallacies, such as “culture is what keeps language alive” knowing damn well cultures wouldn’t exist without language.
