The problem is that the new college grads that have been allowed to use AI as a crutch have NO IDEA how to work. They are being fired at incredible rates because they literally don't know how to do anything. So they can't get the initial experience they will need to go up the skills ladder. Now they are saddled with debt, they have no jobs, and they are being left behind.
You want AI to succeed? It can't be used as a substitute for learning. Yet that is the first thing we have done as a society. And it is bad. Very, very bad.
