AI art is a perfect example of how and why technology is going to rapidly replace human workers. AI doesn't cop an attitude, doesn't have a breakdown when someone says they don't like it or its work. Always delivers exactly what it promises, never makes excuses for itself, never asks for anything in return for its services, will always upgrade or simply step aside when a new, improved version comes out, and works more quickly and efficiently than its human counterparts. If artists are afraid of being swept aside by it, they have two choices: improve their game by stepping up and working harder and smarter than ever before, or learn to adapt their skills to work with the new innovations. Bitching and complaining about it will only exhaust your energies. Look at the horse and buggy industries during the advent of the automobile. Look at factory workers when automated machinery came in. We're entering into uncharted territory, folks. Only the brave and determined will find a way through.
